2023 | The Pirates of Penzance
GSSME presents one of Gilbert and Sullivan’s best known operettas, The Pirates of Penzance at The Grand in Ellsworth!
When Frederic finishes his apprenticeship with a band of notoriously tender-hearted orphaned pirates, he thinks his life as an upstanding citizen can finally begin! But his high ideals and a budding romance are soon threatened when the scheming pirate king discovers a loophole in Frederic’s piratical contract…
Packed with pirates, puns, police, and a modern major paradox, this witty swashbuckling adventure will delight the whole family!
